Overview
Illinois State Senator Michael Hastings approached AdEasel for help with his campaign for the upcoming 2022 Secretary of State elections. His existing campaign branding was outdated and needed a fresh look to appeal to state voters.
Approach
The Hastings brand evolved from a cliche campaign to a modern, relatable one that stood out from the competing Illinois candidates.
The website was built on one page, introducing users to Mike’s story, experience and goals as a politician.
Inspiring Action
Calls to action were designed to relate to working class voters and promote participation in the campaign through donations, volunteer work and petition signing. Landing pages for several key goals were built to facilitate marketing efforts.
A vote for What matters
The Hastings website continues to evolve as the campaign redefines goals and nears the election. With a set of defined brand guides, the Hastings campaign team has the tools to maintain consistency and trust in the eyes of the voters.
